Overview

This website is operated by Heavy Lift Customs. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Heavy Lift Customs.

By visiting our website, purchasing a product, requesting a custom project, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Products & Custom Orders

Heavy Lift Customs specializes in custom and personalized products, including laser engraving, laser cutting, 3D printing, custom fabrication, and other made-to-order projects.

Because many products are individually designed and produced, slight variations in color, wood grain, engraving appearance, texture, layer lines, or other material characteristics may occur. These variations are normal and are not considered defects.

Custom Design Approval

For custom projects, customers may be provided with a design proof or mockup before production.

By approving a design, the customer confirms that all information is correct, including:

Names and spelling
Dates
Logos and artwork
Colors
Dimensions
Placement
Design elements
Other requested details

Heavy Lift Customs is not responsible for errors that were included in a customer-approved design.

Changes requested after approval or after production has begun may result in additional charges.

Customer-Supplied Artwork

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any logos, photographs, artwork, trademarks, unit insignia, graphics, or other materials submitted to Heavy Lift Customs.

By submitting artwork or requesting that we reproduce a design, you represent that you have the necessary rights or authorization to use that material.

Heavy Lift Customs reserves the right to decline any project that we believe may violate intellectual property rights, applicable laws, or our business standards.

Pricing & Payment

Prices may vary depending on the size, materials, design complexity, customization, production time, and quantity required.

Custom projects may require a deposit or full payment before production begins.

Any additional work or changes requested after the original quote may result in additional charges.

Cancellations

Standard orders may be canceled before production or fulfillment begins.

Custom orders may only be canceled before design work, material purchasing, or production has started.

Once custom design work or production has begun, payments or deposits may become non-refundable.

Returns & Refunds

Custom and personalized products are generally final sale.

Returns, replacements, and refunds are handled according to our Return & Refund Policy.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from the approved design, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the issue.

Production Times

Production times provided by Heavy Lift Customs are estimates.

Custom projects may require additional time depending on design complexity, material availability, order volume, equipment availability, or requested revisions.

We will make reasonable efforts to complete orders within the estimated timeframe but cannot guarantee completion by a specific date unless expressly agreed upon.

Shipping

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Heavy Lift Customs is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, incorrect addresses, or circumstances outside our control.

Shipping issues will be handled according to our Shipping Policy.

Product Use & Safety

Customers are responsible for using products appropriately and for their intended purpose.

Some 3D-printed, laser-cut, engraved, or handmade products may contain small parts, sharp edges, or materials that are not appropriate for young children.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, our products should not be considered safety equipment, medical equipment, food-safe products, or toys intended for unsupervised use by young children.

Adult supervision is recommended when appropriate.

3D-Printed Products

3D-printed products are manufactured layer by layer and may show visible layer lines or minor surface variations.

3D-printed products may also be affected by excessive heat, sunlight, impact, or improper use depending on the material used.

These characteristics are considered part of the manufacturing process and are not necessarily defects.

Laser-Engraved & Natural Materials

Natural materials such as wood, leather, slate, and similar products may vary in grain, color, texture, thickness, and engraving appearance.

Because of these natural variations, finished products may not look exactly identical to photographs, samples, or previous orders.

Handmade & Custom Projects

Many Heavy Lift Customs products involve manual assembly, finishing, engraving, printing, painting, epoxy work, or other custom processes.

Minor variations between handmade products are expected and contribute to the unique nature of each piece.

Refusal of Service

Heavy Lift Customs reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order when necessary, including projects involving unlawful content, intellectual property concerns, unsafe applications, abusive customer behavior, or projects outside our capabilities.

If we cancel an order before production for reasons unrelated to customer misconduct, any applicable payment will be refunded.

Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices, and other website information are accurate.

However, we reserve the right to correct errors, update information, change pricing, or modify product availability without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heavy Lift Customs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products or services.

Our liability relating to an individual purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that product or service, except where otherwise required by law.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original designs, photographs, graphics, branding, website content, and other materials created by Heavy Lift Customs remain the property of Heavy Lift Customs.

Purchasing a physical product does not automatically transfer ownership of the underlying digital design, artwork, SVG, STL, CAD file, or other intellectual property.

Digital design files will only be provided when specifically included in the purchase or agreed upon in writing.
